The Italian Genealogical Institute performs researches in all of Italy and the Ticino Region of Switzerland. It performs a professional service for those who believe that their genealogy is something very important and who appreciate the painstaking care taken to assure that each name and date is accurate and that each family is complete.

The Italian Genealogical Institute has a staff of researchers that have years of experience in Italian genealogy and family history.

They are all fluent in Italian, English and Latin and trained in researching genealogical and historical archives. They have a knowledge of paleography and can research and translate records back to the early Middle ages.

The Italian Genealogical Institute will research the original records in all town, state and parish archives.
